A 17th person has died of coronavirus complications in Georgia earlier today.
The woman had several underlying conditions and had been undergoing treatment for a long time in Mtskheta Medical Centre in eastern Georgia.
As of today Georgia has had 1,160 cases of the coronavirus.
935 of the 1,160 patients have recovered, while 17 others have died.

As of today 208 people remain infected with COVID-19 in the country.
Most of the new cases reported in the country over the past several weeks were connected either with Gardabani municipality of eastern Georgia, or were imported.
The Karajalari village of Gardabani municipality is on lockdown, while the government is carrying out monitoring of all open markets in Georgia to prevent the further spread of the virus.

Many of the Gardabani inhabitants work as vendors in Lilo open market in Tbilisi, the largest open market in the capital city.
Georgia reported its first case of the coronavirus on February 26, 2020.
Since then more than 214,000 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the country.
