After a four-month shutdown, domestic flights will resume in Georgia starting July 24, announces United Airports of Georgia.
Regular flights will be carried out from Natakhtari airfield to Mestia and Ambrolauri domestic airports and from Tbilisi International Airport to Batumi.
Between July 24-31 six flights will be carried out on the route of Mestia-Natakhtari, five flights on the route of Tbilisi Batumi and three flights on the route of Ambrolauri-Natakhtari.
From August flights to Mestia will be carried out five times a week, to Ambrolauri three times a week and to Batumi four times a week.
Director of the United Airports of Georgia Tamar Archuadze said that more than 300 tickets have already been sold which shows that demand for domestic flights is high.
She said that the ticket price for domestic flights has not changed and has remained as it was in 2019.
