Georgia has reported four new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 999.
870 of the 999 patients have recovered, while 15 others have died.

All four new cases are imported- truck drivers, said the director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases Marina Ezugbaia earlier today.

Since then more than 148,000 people have been tested for the coronavirus inside the country.
More than 13 million people have been infected with COVID-19 worldwide so far.
Georgia has decided to open borders unconditionally for Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia starting August.
All five countries have also opened borders for Georgia.
The health condition of 28 Georgian soldiers who have tested positive for the coronavirus in Afghanistan is satisfactory, says the press office of the Gori military hospital.

As of today 115 people remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia. Three of the four new cases are imported-one from Armenia, two from Kyrgyzstan. The individuals tested positive for the coronavirus in quarantine. The Georgian parliament allowed the government yesterday to impose movement, labour, migration, economic and other restrictions without the declaration of a state of emergency.
