200 firefighters, 10 fire engines and three helicopters are trying to extinguish a fire near the Khaishi village of Mestia municipality, which erupted on June 5.
Three of the four fires in the forest have been contained and now firefighters are trying to put them out, the Georgian Emergency Management Service reported earlier today.
The agency says that the fourth location is difficult to reach.
Agency officials are at the scene and state the situation is under control.
Strong winds, heat and difficult terrain have made it difficult for the firefighters to extinguish the fire so far.
