Two more test positive for coronavirus in Georgia, one individual recovers

Two people have tested positive for the COVID-19 in Georgia increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 921.

The medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia told journalists today that these are 'imported' cases as both infected individuals are truck drivers. 

Meanwhile, one infected individual has recovered, bringing the total number recoveries to 781.

As of now, 126 individuals remain infected in Georgia since the country reported its first coronavirus cases in late February.

Although regular international flights will not resume in Georgia until August 1, the country is on a draft list of countries that will be allowed to enter the European Union starting July 1.
