The United States government has committed an additional $1 million in new USAID funding to support Georgia’s response to coronavirus.

The new assistance, delivered in partnership with UNICEF, will provide hygiene and medical supplies to health facilities, support rapid response teams, case management, and infection control, as well as strengthen public health communications.

The USAID/Georgia also announced that as of now the US government has committed a total of $2.7 million to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Georgia.
