60,273 people tested for coronavirus in Georgia with PCR method

Georgia has tested 60, 273 people for coronavirus in Georgia between January 30 and June 3 with the use of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests, which is the ‘gold standard’ in testing the virus. 

Over the time 801 people have tested positive for the virus in the country and 13 others have died.

As of today 144 people remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.

Georgian health officials say that the coronavirus has already re-attacked several countries and there may also be a second wave of the virus in Georgia. 

The Georgian government says that they have managed to keep the virus under control so far.
