Georgian citizen dies in Spain due to COVID-19

Another Georgian citizen has died from the new coronavirus in Barcelona, Spain, said Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani earlier today.

The patient was a 55-year old woman who was also suffering from cancer.

This is not the first case a Georgian citizen has died from Covid-19 abroad.

As of now, seven Georgian citizens have died due to Covid-19 in different coronavirus-hit areas, five among them suffered from underlying illnesses.

Georgia has reported a total of 266 cases of the coronavirus as of today. 67 people of the 266 have recovered, while three individuals have died.
