Total recoveries from coronavirus increase to 60 in Georgia

Four more individuals have recovered from the coronavirus in Georgia increasing the total number of recoveries to 60.
As of now, there are a total of 242 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, including three deaths.
174 infected individuals remain in various hospitals in Georgia, while two foreign citizens have returned to their country.

Some 4,856 people are under quarantine in the country due to possible contact with the infected individuals, while 370 others remain under medical observation at hospitals.
Three more Georgian citizens infected with COVID-19 have been delivered from Armenia and Turkey.
Six Georgian citizens died of the virus in different coronavirus-hit areas, four among them suffered from underlying illnesses.
A total of 79 Georgian school students have arrived home from the United States amid the coronavirus pandemic. The students were first brought from the US to Qatar and afterwards they were flown from Doha to Tbilisi. All of the students will spend a mandatory 14-day quarantine in hotels in Tbilisi and Kakheti.
The Interior Ministry again calls on everyone to follow the regulations of the state of emergency, otherwise individuals will face a fine of 3,000 GEL, while legal entities will face a fine of 15,000 GEL; repeat offence is punishable by three years in prison.
Two individuals have recovered from the coronavirus in Georgia increasing the total number of recoveries to 56. One of the recovered patients is a two-year-old child who went under treatment at the Academician Vakhtang Bochorishvili Clinic in Tbilisi.
Lentekhi municipality in the western Georgian region of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti has been placed under “strict quarantine” after four locals tested positive for the coronavirus. Given the full quarantine, local residents will be able to go out only to buy food or medicines, or receive medical care.
