Two conscripts detained for financial extortion, violence

The military police of Georgia’s Defence Ministry has detained two conscripts for alleged financial extortion and physical abuse of a recruit at the Krtsanisi training centre. 

19-year-old recruit Kazim Gakhramov had reported earlier that several people tried to extort money from him and several others and then physically abused him.

The investigation was launched for possible money extortion and violence, which considers two to four years of detention.
