Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said that territorial integrity is the main challenge facing Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Gakharia made the remarks at a news briefing after the plenary meeting of the Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) in Kyiv earlier today.

Thanking his colleagues for their support to the territorial integrity of Georgia, PM Gakharia reiterated his country’s commitment to resolving each and every conflict on its territory “solely through a peaceful manner”.
Stressing importance of deepening economic ties, Gakharia noted as well that the GUAM member states - Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine - will spare no efforts to achieve the free trade regime among one another.
Officials of the four GUAM member states issued a joint statement where they expressed "deep concern" over the unresolved conflicts "that undermine the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the internationally recognised borders" of their states.
They further stressed that "the existence of the unresolved conflicts impede sustainable development and full-fledged regional cooperation, as well as pose serious threat to regional peace, security and stability".
Furthermore, the heads of states agreed to continue joint and coordinated efforts aimed at keeping the unresolved conflicts high on the international agenda, including mobilisation of the international support for the non–recognition policy towards the illegal regimes in conflict-affected areas.
