A modern consular service centre has been opened in the Embassy of Georgia in Austria, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
The service centre is equipped with the necessary equipment and a front office able to handle two citizens at the same time.
The consular office has all required safety standards as well.
Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said that the main task of the diplomatic representative offices of Georgia is to improve services for both Georgian and foreign citizens.
Zalkaliani announced that modern consular service centres will gradually be opened in all Georgian embassies abroad.
