Artificial Intelligence University will start functioning in Georgia on the basis of Business and Technology University (BTU) from September 2020.
Mikheil Batiashvili, Georgia’s ex-Education Minister is the initiator of the project in partnership with international companies HP and Microsoft.
This will be the first educational space across the region to integrate artificial intelligence into education and business sectors. Provided with high-tech laboratories, research centers and e-libraries the university will be focused on research, teaching and innovations”, states the press office of BTU.
The AI University will have its own high-tech laboratory too.
As the press office of BTU says, the demand for artificial intelligence specialists is growing fast, so it’s one of the highest-paid fields in the world. That’s why we need relevant educational programs that will be fully met by BTU Artificial Intelligence (BTU AI).
The BTU official press statement reads that the global market for artificial intelligence will reach $4 trillion by 2022, and will be used by large industries to increase the efficiency of manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, finance and security.
