Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is entering the Georgian aviation market starting November 6, announced the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) earlier today.
Direct flights to Europe will be carried out from both Kutaisi and Tbilisi International Airport.
Starting November 6, Ryanair will offer flights on the route Tbilisi-Milan-Tbilisi four times a week.
From November 7, it will offer flights between Kutaisi and Marseille twice a week. Starting November 9, Bologna will also be amongst the available flight options.
Ryanair was granted permission to operate in Georgia by GCAA on October 24.
Flights will be carried out by Boeing 737 aircraft.
