Georgian-Israeli defence ministries sign cooperation deal

The Georgian Defence Minister Levan Izoria and his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman have signed a memorandum of understanding today, which will enhance Georgian-Israeli cooperation for military education, reserve and mobilisation systems.
A working group will be established, which will help Georgia share Israel’s experience for the reserve and mobilisation systems, as well as how to study civil defence at schools,” Izoria stated in Tel Aviv today.
Izoria briefed Lieberman on Georgian reforms and particularly about reforms in the defence field.
Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said "Georgia supports the efforts of the international community aimed at the peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which should be achieved through an agreement based on dialogue".
A new education centre Israeli Technology Hub will be opened at Georgia’s Business and Technology University to offer new opportunities to students and graduates.
Israeli Immigration and Border Protection Service with Georgia’s embassy to Israel offer Georgian illegal migrants in Israel in return back to Georgia " worthily and voluntarily.”
The flag carrier of Israel, El Al Israel Airlines, plans to launch regular flights between Georgia’s capital Tbilisi and Black Sea resort town Batumi and Tel Aviv, Israel’s second largest city.
