Georgia’s Emergency Management Service employees have managed to save five people in west Georgia who were standing in a precarious position on an artificial hillock that emerged after the flooding of the river Rioni.
Emergency groups from Kutaisi, Samtredia and Vani used water boats to rescue the people in a very complicated situation, in the village of Bashi, Samtredi.
The survivors are four men and one woman.
They have already been taken to a safe place.
