Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili expressed his sadness over the Iranian plane crash that killed all 66 people on board today.
Sixty passengers, two security guards, two flight attendants and the pilot and co-pilot were on board.

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili also offered his condolences to the Iranian government and people.
On behalf of the Georgian people and me personally, I want to offer condolences to the families of those who died [in the plane crash] and express deep sympathy for the Iranian goverment and people", President Margvelashvili said.
Meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif at the Munich Security Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze also expressed his condolences over the plane crash.

According to the foreign media, an Aseman Airlines plane, en route from Tehran to the south-western city of Yasuj, came down near the city of Semirom in Isfahan province.
