PM Kvirikashvili invites int’l business people to explore Georgia

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with the representatives of various international business organizations at the 54th Munich Security Conference last night.

Kvirikashvili introduced those in attendance to Georgia’s investment opportunities, favorable environment for doing business and the reforms the country is carrying out to bring the country even closer to European Union (EU) standards.

PM Kvirikashvili said Georgia is the first country in the region that apart from the free trade agreement with EU, Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States and its neighourhood, has also signed a free trade agreement with China.

Stressing that Georgia aims at developing itself into a regional economic hub and implementing huge investment projects, Kvirikashvili invited German and international business people to Georgia to better familiarize themselves with the opportunities the country now has to offer.

The Georgian delegation is headed by Prime Minister Kvirikashvili, at a conference which is bringing together heads of states from more than 30 countries, and more than 100 ministers worldwide.

Having officially kicked off yesterday, the Munich Security Conference will last until February 19.
