United Airports of Georgia: 73% of passengers in Georgia are tourists

Georgia’s three international airports served 4,354,423 passengers in the last 10 months, which is a 23% increase in comparison to last year, says the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.

Georgia’s three international airports served 3,920,771 passengers in the last nine months, which is a 22 per cent increase in comparison to last year, says the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.

Georgian airports have served 3,375,959 passengers during the last eight months, which is a 25 per cent increase in comparison to last year, an official statement of United Airports of Georgia says.

Georgia’s three international airports served 2,719,920 passengers in the first seven months of 2018, which is a 28 percent increase year-on-year (y/y).

The number of passengers who took regular or charter flights in Georgia’s three international airports increased by 23% in 2018 compared to 2017, while the number of performed flights increased by 17%.

Georgia’s three international airports served 324,554 passengers in January 2019, which is a 25% increase in comparison to last year, says the United Airports of Georgia.

Kutaisi International Airport has served 47,868 passengers in November – a 132% year-on-year increase, United Airports of Georgia reports.
