Georgia’s three international airports served 4,354,423 passengers in the last 10 months, which is a 23% increase in comparison to last year, says the United Airports of Georgia.
The number of passengers who took regular or charter flights in Georgia increased in all three main airports of the country: Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport, Batumi International Airport and Kutaisi David Aghmashenebeli International Airport.
More specifically:
- Tbilisi International Airport served 3,286,344 passengers - a 21% increase y/y
- Kutaisi International Airport served 512,386 passengers – 42% increase
- Batumi International Airport served 555,693 passengers – 19% increase

In the reporting period Georgia’s rural airports in Mestia and Ambrolauri together served 7,601 passengers in the first 10 months of 2018.
Georgia’s three international airports served 3,920,771 passengers in the last nine months, which is a 22 per cent increase in comparison to last year, says the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.
Georgian airports have served 3,375,959 passengers during the last eight months, which is a 25 per cent increase in comparison to last year, an official statement of United Airports of Georgia says.
Georgia’s three international airports served 2,719,920 passengers in the first seven months of 2018, which is a 28 percent increase year-on-year (y/y).
Georgia’s three international airports served 500,709 passengers in January-February of 2018, which is a 34.38 percent increase year-on-year (y/y).
The construction of a new terminal in Kutaisi international Airport will be completed by the end of 2019.
