Secretary General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has given a positive assessment to Georgian health reforms, as well as the efforts of the Georgian government to reduce prices on medicines and bring pharmacological production in line with high standards.

Ghebreyesus made the statement during the meeting with Georgian Health Minister David Sergeenko on the sidelines of the WHO 68th annual session in Rome yesterday, bringing together delegations from 53 countries.
Sergeenko delivered his speech at the session, speaking about reforms in the health sector and challenges Georgia is facing in the field.
