Georgian rescue officers are searching for two German tourists who went missing near the Mount Ushba in the Svaneti region in the west of Georgia.
Georgian extreme sports cameraman Nika Lebanidze became part of a record-breaking mountain peak leap by a world famous base jumper earlier this month, with the Georgian capturing the feat on lens.
A source participating in the search operation in Svaneti has confirmed to Agenda.ge that two bodies and the alpinists’ tent have been found on Mount Ushba in Georgia’s north-west Svaneti region. The Moldovan alpinists took the so-called classic 4th route.
