This happened today at the graduation ceremony of Georgia’s National Defense Academy, when young graduate Shalva Khundzakishvili proposed to his girlfriend after receiving his bachelor’s diploma.

Together with Khundzakishvili, 118 lieutenants took their oaths today.
Georgian Defence Minister Levan Izoria congratulated Junkers on graduating from the academy and gave them diplomas, while some of the successful students were awarded with service weapons.

Now graduate lieutenants will undergo basic officer courses and once they complete this course as well they will be assigned positions as junior officers in the Georgian Armed Forces.
Georgian cadet Lt Alexander Papavadze has been named the best overseas student of the United Kingdom Platoon Commander Battle Course (PCBC) according to the UK Ministry of Defence assessment.
