PM Bakhtadze sends warm wishes to France on national day

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze has sent warm wishes to the French people on Bastille Day in a letter released today.

"The French revolution and the storming of the Bastille served as a basis for the future of not only France but all of Europe. This historic event is important for everyone who admires democratic values. We are united through these values,” PM Bakhtadze wrote.

He also wished France prosperity and peace.

The French National Day, Bastille Day or la fête nationale is the anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution.
