A total of 240 internally displaced families from Georgia’s Russian occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) have received new apartments in Zugdidi, Samegrelo region today.

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze met with the 240 families today and promised them to return them "where they belong”. In his speech Bakhtadze underlined that the day was emotional though not fully festive.

We will have reason to celebrate when justice is restored and we return to the places where we deserve to be”, Bakhtadze said.
