Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with German Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Gerd Muller in Tbilisi today.
Kvirikashvili presented the details of his government’s four-point reform plan to Muller and the German official expressed his full support for the plan, the PM’s press office said following the meeting.
Muller also voiced support for intensifying Germany’s assistance to developing a vocational education system in Georgia.

He also initiated to hold a joint Georgian-German investment forum in Germany where German investors will better explore Georgia’s investment opportunities.
Kvirikashvili stressed at the meeting that Germany played an important role in granting Georgian citizens visa-free travel to the Schengen Area. He thanked Muller for this and also for Germany’s firm support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The pair also discussed the events planned within the Georgian-German Year - an 18-month-long series of cultural and political events celebrating the 200 years of friendship and 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
