Qatar Airways increases flight frequency between Doha and Tbilisi

Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, is increasing flight frequency to Georgia to deal with steadily increasing demand.
From May 1, Qatar Airways will add additional Doha-Tbilisi-Doha flights and perform regular flights two times a day.
The new flights still need to be approved by Georgian Civil Aviation Agency. Georgia’s Ministry of Economy announced that Qatar Airways will apply to the agency "in the coming days”.
Flights on the route Doha-Tbilisi-Doha will be performed by Airbus 320 type aircraft.
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways is celebrating its five-year anniversary of entering the Georgian market. As Senior Manager Commercial - Eastern Europe Giovanni Simonini said, this five-year operation in Georgia was successful and fruitful.
Qatar Airways entered the Georgian market in February 2012.
New direct flights will link the two capital cities of Ukraine and Georgia from next month.
