The Georgian capital of Tbilisi will soon have an ecologically safe waste processing factory relevant to the European standards.

A memorandum was signed between Tbilisi City Hall and the KDV Georgia company that won the tender last year.

The project covers the full cycle of waste management from sorting of different types of waste, to a unique recycling method used in non-oxygen space that does not harm environment.

With the German KDV technology of recycling, on the final stage of the technologic cycle two main products are received:

  • Euro 5 standard synthetic diesel
  • Bitumen used for producing asphalt.

The company plans to introduce its final products both to the local and international markets.
