Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi will implement a recycling strategy in a bid to reduce pollution, Tbilisi City hall has announced.
The strategy will be created in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
"I think the strategy that will be created by the EBRD and Tbilisi municipality will ensure that very soon Tbilisi will step by step move towards a waste segregation system”, Kaladze said.
Kaladze added that recycling bins separating glass, paper and plastic will be installed in Tbilisi as a way to better manage the city’s ecological environment and reduce pollution.
