Azerbaijan’s low-cost Buta Airways launches flights in Tbilisi

An Azerbaijani low-cost airline Buta Airways will operate flights from Baku to Tbilisi from September 1, announces Georgia’s Ministry of Economy.

From September 1 Buta Airways will perform flights on the route Baku-Tbilisi-Baku instead of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL). At first Buta Airways will replace the Azerbaijan Airlines on four flights and from October 29 – all flights will be performed by Buta Airways,” announced the Ministry.

Furthermore, between October 29 and March 24 Buta Airways will increase the flight frequency and will connect the two capitals 14 times in a week instead of 10, which is the current flight frequency.
