Two men detained at occupation line near Tskhinvali

Two men have been detained by so-called border guards near the occupation line separating breakaway Tskhinvali region (South Ossetia) from the rest of Georgia.

The detainees, Givi Etsadashvili and Givi Mamisbedashvili were detained in the village of Plavismani in the Gori Municipality near the Russian-occupied Georgian region of Tskhinvali.

So-called border guards detained Etsadashvili and Mamisbedashvili while the two men were grazing their cows.

The governor of the Gori Municipality stated that Etsadashvili and Mamisbedashvili had not crossed the so-called border.

As reported, both men were sent to the Tskhinvali Militsia (Police).
