US Congressman: Georgia exemplary in region

United States Congressman Gerry Connolly says that Georgia is an example for its neighbours.
Connolly spoke at the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the US and Georgia at the Capitol Hill reception on Thursday.
He said the Congressmen have supported the proposition that territorial integrity of Georgia must be restored and respected.
And the good news is that I think this is well known support here in the Congress for that position”, Congressman Connolly said.
Welcoming 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the US and Georgia Connolly said "we more importantly celebrate vibrant democracy that is flourishing in Georgia”.
We want to see it grow… and we want to see its neighbours learn from it”, Congresman Connolly said thanking everyone for celebration of "the long lasting friendship between the two countries”.
