Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan have started their joint military exercises in Georgia today.

During the ten-day exercises called ‘Caucasus Eagle 2017’ the military subdivisions will go through different stages of training to improve their professional capacity.

The drills held in a trilateral format aim at improving the combat readiness and mutual vigilance of the three countries.

This is the first time Georgia is hosting the military exercises. Previously the drills were hosted by Turkey.
