Georgia’s Prime Minister meets US Vice President Joe Biden

Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili is in the United States (US) to meet the country’s senior officials, including Vice President Joseph Biden.

Starting today Kvirikashvili is paying a four-day working visit to the US.

Before meeting Biden the Georgian leader will hold meetings with officials from the US Senate and the House of Representatives, as well as officials from leading American business circles and non-governmental organisations.

During his official visit Kvirikashvili will also meet World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Zhu Min.

The Georgian PM was scheduled to speak at the US Institute of Peace and the University of Illinois. He will also meet Georgian students studying in Boston.

Kvirikashvili was accompanied to the US by the country’s Economy and Foreign Ministers and Parliament officials.
