United States (US) Vice President Joseph Biden says Georgian Dream's strong majority in parliament means the party has great responsibility to lead inclusively and reach out to all pro-reform forces as it crafts its policies.

Biden congratulated Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili on his party's victory in Georgia's recent Parliamentary Elections when the pair spoke on the phone on November 4.

The US high official commended Georgia's democratic leadership in the region.

He also reiterated US supported Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders and condemned Russia's ratification of a "treaty" with Abkhazia on setting up a joint armed force.

Biden and Kvirikashvili agreed the Georgian Dream's strong majority in parliament meant Georgian Dream had great responsibility in government to lead inclusively and reach out to all pro-reform forces as it crafts its policies.

The Vice President encouraged Georgia's Prime Minister to use the recent election results to continue Georgia’s democratic and economic reforms to further Georgia's integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions.
