More than 35,000 tickets have been already sold for a series of concerts involving pop music stars Robbie Williams and Eros Ramazzotti scheduled for Georgia's capital and around the country.

These and other artists are part of the Check in Georgia initiative involving performing arts events and festivals spanning eight months.

The Culture Ministry also said more than 1,000 online ticket transactions had been made from abroad, indicating Georgia should expect many international visitors for the headlining concerts.
