Georgia’s PM leaves for Dubai for Annual Investment Meeting

Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili will tell the Arab world about Georgia’s healthy and positive business environment at one of the most celebrated conferences that connects top investors in Dubai.

Today Kvirikashvili will participate in the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and deliver a speech at the plenary session Global Leaders Debate.

The main theme for the sixth Annual Investment Meeting was ‘The New World of FDI, Key Features and Best Practices’. The event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 11-13, 2016.

The Georgian high official will emphasise the positive investment climate in his home country as well as the stable and positive business environment and trade and economic potential of Georgia.

Kvirikashvili will also highlight the role of Georgia in the New Silk Road project.

Georgia’s efforts to improve the economy though the Government’s four-point reform agenda will be addressed by PM Kvirikashvili at the investment fair, where he will tell potential investors the best areas and benefits of investing in Georgia.

While in Dubai Kvirikashvili is due to meet Prime Minister of the UAE, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the ruling Sheikh of Dubai and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, heir apparent of the Abu Dhabi throne.

Kvirikashvili will also meet members of the local business society who participate in the forum.
