Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Council) has approved next year’s budget for Georgia’s capital city.
In 2017 Tbilisi City Hall will enjoy a budget of over 800 million GEL.
The exact 2017 Budget is 801,302,000 (about $322 million/€300 million*).
Sakrebulo voted on the 2017 Budget last night. The city’s main financial document was presented at the meeting by Mayor David Narmania.
Opposition members of the City Council did not support the budget document however the 2017 Budget was approved with 31 votes in favour and seven against.
According to the 2017 Budget, Tbilisi’s priorities next year will be:
