Georgia’s national rugby team beats Samoa in Tbilisi

Several minutes ago Georgia’s national rugby team defeated Samoa in its second November test game at Tbilisi Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Vake district of the capital city. 

Georgian won the game with a score of 20-16.

Georgia hosted the first test game against Japan on November 12 and was defeated 28-22.

Prior to today's game, team captain Mamuka Gorgodze said the Lelos "had no right to lose the game,” and the team "must end the year with a victory”. 

He stressed the game would be "tough" as both teams were strong and had equal chances. 

In the current World Rugby Ranking, Georgia ranked 12th in the world after the team's loss to Japan, while Samoa ranked 14th.
