International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED), one of key Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) in Georgia, says the Second Round of Parliamentary Elections is better organised than the first round.
Only 0.3 percent of polling stations were not ready to open to voters exactly at 8am this morning, when the figure for the first round of the Parliamentary Elections on October 8 was 4.2 percent,” said ISFED.
No major violations were detected at 99.5 percent of polling stations.
The NGO said 100 percent of its observers were able to monitor the electoral process without any barriers.
As of yet, the NGO’s observers made 10 remarks, wrote nine appeals to the precinct election commission and six to the district election commission regarding violations or incidences occurring at polling booths.
Most of the appeals were because of procedural violations, ISFED said.
