A new wave of Georgian designers are making their mark and shaping the future of fashion in Tbilisi, Georgia's capital.

The 14th season of Tbilisi Fashion Week took place over the past week and as well as promoting established designers, was full of shows promoting up-and-coming Georgian designers.

During the five-day celebration of Georgian fashion, new designers showcased their designs in about 20 fashion shows, all full of new trends and colours.

This season Tbilisi Fashion Week discovered new designers – a new wave of Georgian designers – who will conquer the Georgian fashion industry. I am glad to see very strong collections of newcomer designers,” said Tako Chkheidze, founder of Tbilisi Fashion Week.
