Today the Government of Georgia gifted 100 Internally Displaced families with newly built and furnished apartments in capital Tbilisi.
The apartments were located in the Olympic Village at Tbilisi Sea.

The families were handed the keys to their new homes by Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees Sozar Subari and Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania.

The Refugees Ministry announced by the end of this year, 400 more Internally Displaced families would receive modern flats in the Olympic Village.
Since the Georgian Dream Government took office in 2012, thousands of people from 521 Internally Displaced families had received new homes in Tbilisi.
The Government’s housing initiative for IDPs was also operating in the regions, including Gori and Shida Kartli region.
