President Margvelashvili meets NATO, EU top officials

Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili is set to meet NATO and European Union (EU) top officials during the next four days.

Margvelashvili is in Strasbourg, France today for a two-day working visit. Afterwards he will travel to Brussels, Belgium and stay there for another two days on official business.

While in Strasbourg the Georgian President will meet Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland and European Parliament President Martin Schulz.

The Georgian top official will speak about Georgia-EU relations at the Foreign Committee meeting at the European Parliament.

Margvelashvili will later travel to Brussels and meet NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.
