Georgian racer wins Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe

A Georgian racing driver has gained international success after taking his first 2015 win in his class at the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe.

The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe is the international motor racing series that involves dozens of drivers from different countries.

Georgian racing driver Shota Abkhazava won the AM Class at Race Two of the international race series in Monza, Italy.

"I don’t feel exhausted, I think that’s because of the adrenalin. After so many podium finishes I finally won my first race and I’m delighted," Abkhazava said after the race.

Abkhazava, who was competing for the Artilne Team Georgia, finished six seconds ahead of Race One winner Mark Ineichen, who raced for Konrad Motorsport.

Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is a prestigious international motor racing series, in which racers compete in identical Lamborghini Cup cars.
