Georgia’s Prime Minister visits Romania

Georgia’s Prime Minister is continuing an official visit in Bucharest, Romania.

Georgia’s Prime Minister is continuing an official visit abroad.

Irakli Garibashvili has left Brussels, Belgium, where he met top European Union (EU) officials, and is on his way to Bucharest, the capital of Romania to continue his official visit abroad.

Garibashvili is scheduled to pay an official visit to Bucharest for talks with his Romanian counterpart Victor Ponta and other officials today.

The Georgian PM will also meet Speaker of Upper House of Romania’s Parliament Calin Popescu Tariceanu, and Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Valeriu Zgonea.

Garibashvili is being accompanied by a Georgia delegation, consisting of Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili and Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia.

The Georgian PM was invited to Romania by Ponta, when he visited Georgia in March last year.
