Georgia Prime Minister attends Paris Climate Change Summit

Georgia’s Prime Minister is set to leave for Paris to attend a global climate change conference together with 140 other world leaders.
The United Nations Climate Change Summit in Paris will open on November 30 and run until December 11.
Over those days world governments will try to agree on a new and universal climate change agreement.
Summit participants will include United States President Barack Obama and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
"The time for action is now, before climate change creates widespread and unpredictable change around the world and jeopardizes the lives of millions of people,” said Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the United Nations Climate Summit in New York.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has begun his official visit to Glasgow to attend the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP 26), which kicked off on October 31 and is scheduled to end on November 12.
