Rough weather over the Georgian seaside cities

The storm has damaged the roof of the House of Justice in Tbilisi. According to the press center of the Ministry of Justice, the minister Tea Tsulikiani appealed to employees for the evacuation of building.

Several seaside cities of Georgia are flooded and landslides have occurred. Meteorologists calculated the storm to be a magnitude 4 on the cyclone scale in Batumi, one of the biggest Black sea port.

Although the infrastructure is not damaged in Batumi, beaches were totally flooded and the city is in a torrential downpour. The wind speed is increasing, thats why all vehicular traffic has stopped, according to the Emergency Management Agency and Emergency Situations employee Mamuka Turmanidze.

In the mountainous region of Adjara, South-west region of Georgia is receiving snow.

The floods also occurred in Anaklia and Ganmukhuri, West Georgia. More than 10,000 residents of Samegrelo region, West Georgia are left without electricity.

The cold and humid air masses are moving from the North over the Georgian territory, which means the weather will be worsening until night, according to the weather station. However the rough weather will begin improving from tomorrow morning till December 8.
