British news website Daily Mail on Monday praised the performance of Napoli’s Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia by saying he had cemented himself as the Italian league's “main star”, following his contribution to Friday’s crushing 5-1 victory over Juventus in which the Georgian scored a goal and made two assists.
The publication highlighted that Kvaratskhelia had “almost single-handedly destroyed” Juventus, exposing the Bianconeri's defensive frailties and lack of prowess on the wings.
“Kvaratskhelia is the most dangerous winger roaming around Italy right now. Napoli’s victory was born out of Kvara's brilliance and if he can stay fit, the Scudetto arriving in Naples will be a certainty”, the article noted.
