Valencia’s Georgian player Giorgi Mamardashvili has been included in the list of top five Under-25 goalkeepers of the year by the International Centre for Sports Studies - CIES Football Observatory.
In its recent ranking, the CIES Football Observatory compared the performance of players from a total of 75 leagues around the world and highlighted the best U-25 goalkeepers based on the minutes played in the last 365 days.

The Georgian goalkeeper’s coefficient reached 67.0, being a key player for both Valencia and the national team of Georgia, the Valencia football club said on Wednesday.
Only three goalkeepers were named ahead of Mamardashvili, such as Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the Italy national team, Brazilian Bento Krepski, Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper and Portuguese Diogo Costa, goalkeeper of Porto.
