Serbia to open diplomatic representation in Georgia

A diplomatic representation of the Republic of Serbia will be opened in Georgia, announces the Parliament of Georgia.

The Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze met the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, in Serbia today where the officials talked about opening a diplomatic representation in Georgia.

The two officials also discussed direct flights between the countries.

To note, Georgia and Serbia signed visa free agreement in March 2018.

Kobakhidze commented to the media that the opening of diplomatic representation and direct flights will significantly facilitate bilateral relations.

The President of Serbia made the decision to open the diplomatic representation of Serbia in Georgia. He also assigned respective agencies to start working on direct flights”, said Kobakhidze.

Kobakhidze said that the diplomatic representation of Serbia will be opened in Georgia “in the coming months”.
